Urban exploration (often shortened as UE or urbex ) is the exploration of man-made structures, abandoned ruins or not usually seen components of the man-made environment. What people leave to rot, rust and ruin can still contain beauty and get people's attention. Just because something is no longer used or is beyond use does not necessarily lessen its attraction. I find all sorts of beauty in places that most are not aware of, they walk past it on a daily basis and give no thought to its appearance or the tales it must hold of its past.
